Dana Simpson wants Ms. Alvarez to know that she made the effort to write her an authentic, heartfelt message without asking AI for help. So she wrote it as a ReelDoc and included the reel link at the bottom of the email. If Ms. Alvarez clicks the link, this is what she’ll see.

This reel is unredacted, so Ms. Alvarez will see the entire writing history of the document, including half-formed, unpolished thoughts. Dana can avoid sharing such details by making the reel she shares redacted.

Redacted reels still show the final text, so Ms. Alvarez can be reassured that the email she received matches the written final ReelDoc text. Partial, in-progress versions of the document are redacted, masking typos and other embarrassing content.
